New Division is a Duel Masters PLAY’S Rank Match format.

Details[]
It was introduced on December 10, 2020.
In New Division, players are allowed to play cards from the latest 6 main booster sets and their respective EX sets, Basic Cards as well as certain cards from selected decks/sets.
- With the release of DMPP-28, cards from DMPP-01 to DMPP-23 DRAGHEART SOLUTION are prohibited.
- This includes cards that had Prize versions of themselves released after their original sets (E.g. Deathmorry, Gate Watcher of Hell).
- However, if a card is reprinted in a later set, that card would be usable in this format.
Other Card Restrictions[]
Asides from the mentioned restrictions above, the format also limits the usage of certain cards that are listed in the DP Hall of Fame.

- Invincible Technology
- Supernova Apollonus Dragerion
- Sir Virginia, Mystic Light Insect
- Emperor Kiriko
- Hyperspatial White Green Hole
- Inferno Sign
Cup Rewards[]
In order to receive the cup rewards from the New Division format, players must win 5 matches in the New Divisions format.
