City Battle is a gameplay mode that is unlocked to the player after beating the 15th Floor of the Story Mode.

You duel against the Characters from Duel Masters Play's and if you win, you receive an award.
One cycle will consist of a total of 24 Characters; (3 Guardians, 3 City Characters, and 2 Original Characters with each character having three levels of difficulty: Beginner (前), Intermediate (中) and Advanced (後), each with their own 5 rewards to win from.
How does it work[]
By defeating one of the characters, the player will be rewarded with 1 of the 5 rewards at random. Once you have defeated a character 5 times, the player would have completed that character and can no longer receive rewards from that character of that level of difficulty until the new cycle of city battlers is released. (A new City Battle Cycle normally occurs immediately after a new set is introduced).
It is advised to complete all of the city battle characters as soon as possible or before a new set is released as the rewards that you miss will not be obtainable once the cycle ends.
The characters are rotated on a daily basis from 00:00 ~ 23:59 (JST).
- The Original Characters group only appears on weekends so make sure not to miss out on them.
